Finals Game 3

SAN JOSE TAKES SERIES LEAD

SAN JOSE--Using outstanding defense again, the Fighting Amigos became the first team in the finals series to win on its home court, coming from behind with a key 65-57 Game 3 win against the Charleston Rebels.
The Fighting Amigos are now one win away from claiming their second title in three seasons.
Small forward Ed Masterson led the way for San Jose in this won, pumping in 23 points. But "The Cookie Monster" Maurice Lanelle came up strong off the bench at the center position for the Amigos, getting 14 points, 5 rebounds and a blocked shot as the San Jose front line dominated down the stretch.
Jonny Cockaroo returned to the starting lineup for Charleston in this one.
