Season 49 Stat Leaders...awards

Jesse Shershot becomes third San Jose player to win league MVP honors; first since Hall of Fame forward Saggital Occlusal earned MVP in Season 25, Season 26 and Season 27. Other San Jose winner was forward Johnny Fartpants in Season 11. Shershot is first guard to win the honor for that franchise. Set single season scoring average for San Jose.

Freddy Gooch is the second Gillette/Kansas City player to earn Rookie of the Year, the first being Freddy Chepuzzo in Season 46 for K.C.

Doo-rag Dripp becomes the 54th member of the Hall of Fame and the second from the Sacramento River Dogs franchise (following last season's induction of Tree Fiddy). Dripp is currently tied for 32nd place in the Hall.
