-- Last season's ASG MVP, forward Phillip Mianus of Philadelphia is back in the game. The other all star who has won MVP of the game is Eddie "The Milkman" Creamer of San Jose

-- If the MVP of the first half of the season was a thing, it would be retiring Dallas center Biggus Dickus, who is having his finest campaign of an excellent career.

-- Every franchise is represented by at least one all star.

-- Hall of Fame center Chochky Galumpkus of San Jose is now tied for sixth place in most ASG appearances with 8.
