ALL STAR GAME FACTS

--The East has won 31 of the 49 All Star Games

-- Three rookies make starting lineups...all guards in a season of greatest rookie guards ever.

-- The injury to Sky Masterson of Seattle allows San Jose center Twinkles Spatula to sneak in with a 15.4 GVP.

-- Well-respected Philadelphia forward Wawa Wewa makes his third All Star squad and first as a starter in this, his 10th season.

-- Dallas center Chochky Galumpkus has most All Star starts among this season's starters, with three. Of the 10 starters in this season's game, he is the only repeat starter from Season 49.

-- San Jose point guard Cremeofsum Yunguy, the oldest starter in the MBA, makes his first All Star Game in his 14th season. This is a player who spent the first five seasons of his career in the cut pile. 

-- Gillette hosts its first All Star Game and is the only team to not place a player in the contest.

-- Nine players from last season's All Star Game made the team again this season.

-- Eight players have made their first All Star Game roster this season.

-- The most competition to make the All Star Game came at the forward position in the East Division, where 8 players had GVPs of 20 or more. 

JESSE SHERSHOT MAKES HALL

By earning a spot on this season's All Star roster, San Jose guard Jesse Shershot has achieved 10 awards (in just 3 and a half seasons) to become the 55th member of the MBA Hall of Fame. The three-time All-MBA guard has won two scoring titles (currently atop the league again), was Rookie of the Year, was last season's MVP and Playoff MVP and led his team to the championship of Season 49. This third All Star Game appearance clinched the Hall for him. He is now the fourth active Hall of Famer.
